Cabanas El Porvenir is located in a little island at head of the department, nearby the airstrip. From Panama City you will have daily connection from Albrook Airport to El Porvenir. The island of El Porvenir is the important one to go to the other island in the north-west end of the district like Nalunega or Wichub Wala. On this Island you’ll find El Porvenir Hotel, a woman cooperative which sell typical handicrafts and molas from this region, the migration office, the public telephone and a little market (part of the Hotel).

Rates: Are all inclusive per night and per person. Rates include 3 meals per day, tours, transfers to and from the El Porvenir airport and fees. Does not include airline ticket or ground transportation, snorkeling equipment and taxes.

Amenities: El Porvenir has basic and very clean rooms, with private toilet and shower  and electricity for a few  hours a day. Waste water  does not  go into sea. All these amenities that might sound normal to you are hard to find in San Blas. Family rooms are available.

Meals: Chefs at El Porvenir Hotel serve local food including grilled  squid, lobster and giant crabs. Meals usually consist of typical dishes, mostly fresh seafood. Should you desire other options, please notify us in advance. Bottle of water is included with lunch and dinner. Additional beverages and alcoholic drinks can be purchased.

Activities: 2 Tours per day are included in the price. Cultural, historical or ecological options available, that include visit to nearby islands and beaches, local indigenous communities, fishing, birdwatching, or kayak.
