Akwadup Lodge is an Ecological Kuna Lodge owned by a Kuna family.  It is located on a private island in the Caribbean ocean off the coast of Panamá only 5 minutes in boat ride from the village of Achutupu which is the most representative and untouched indigenous community in the native lands of Kuna Yala Comarca.

Rates: Are all inclusive per night and per person. Price shown is for double occupancy.  Rates include 3 meals per day, two tours per day, transfers to and from the Achutupu airport, and all taxes and fees. Does not include snorkel gear or airline ticket.

Amenities: There are seven newly built cabañas at Akwadup Lodge which sit over the ocean, traditional in style but with modern comforts. Inside you will find two double beds, with screens, in each, a large sitting area and balcony with views framed by the rising rain forest on the nearby green horizon. There are roof fans, lighting is powered by solar panels.

The modern fully equipped bathroom has a tiled floor and spacious shower enclosure, fully tiled. From your balcony, enjoy the 180 degree view to the majestic verdant rainforest across the water. Marvel at the sunset’s vividly coloured canvas and the night’s starry canopy. Below the deck, schools of tiny minnows swarm and feed on the ocean plankton.

Meals:  Meals usually consist of typical dishes, mostly fresh seafood. Should you desire other options, please notify us in advance. Bottle of water is included with lunch and dinner and coffee or tea with breakfast. Additional beverages and alcoholic drinks can be purchased.

Activities: Daily Tours are included in the price.  Cultural, historical or ecological options available, that include visit to nearby islands and beaches, mangroves and rivers, local indigenous communities and the Kuna Cementery.
